School Closed for Prospect Mill Elementary Students: HCPS

BEL AIR, MD — A power outage has canceled classes Tuesday for students at Prospect Mill Elementary.

School officials made the announcement Tuesday morning and said that buses were still picking up children in case families did not receive the message.

If they got on the bus, children will be taken to the school at 101 Prospect Mill Road for pickup by a parent or guardian, officials said.

The power outage was caused by damaged equipment, according to BGE, which had a crew on-site working on the repair.
