Schools Closed In Harford County For The Weekend

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Activities planned at Harford County Public Schools are canceled for the weekend, school officials announced Saturday morning. They cited icy conditions.

All school-sponsored activities and other activities to be held in school facilities or on school property will not take place on Saturday, Dec. 16, and Sunday, Dec. 17.

After the snowfall on Friday, authorities have warned of possible icy patches. Schools closed two hours early on Friday in Harford County, where Bel Air reported getting 2 inches of snow.

Temperatures will be in the upper 30s and low 40s in Bel Air through Sunday, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service.
