Harford Sheriff: Hunt for New Jersey Man Continues
Burglary suspect Blaze Hollingsworth should be considered armed and dangerous, Harford County Sheriff's Office said.
BEL AIR, MD – After two businesses on Churchville Road were burglarized Friday morning, the Harford County Sheriff's Office has three suspects in custody, while a fourth—who is considered armed and dangerous—is at large.
Blaze Lavan Jerome Hollingsworth, 24, of Camden, N.J., is wanted in connection with a pair of burglaries that happened around 4 a.m., at the Dunkin' Donuts and Main Street Cigar in the 2200 block of Churchville Road, according to the sheriff's office.
He is described as a black man who is 5'10" tall and 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, according to the sheriff's office, which said in a statement: "He is considered armed and dangerous. A warrant has been issued for his arrest."

Deputies began searching for Hollingsworth after receiving a report of a burglary in progress at 4:11 a.m. and finding that two people had left the scene immediately before they arrived, the sheriff's office said.
Around 9 a.m., detectives who had secured a perimeter with neighboring law enforcement agencies stopped a vehicle containing three people who have since been charged in connection with the burglaries, officials said:

- Harold Carter, 24 of Pine Hill, N.J., is charged with two counts of burglary, theft and malicious destruction of property
- Crystal Hughes, 27, of Philadelphia, is charged with being an accessory to burglary after the fact
- Asia Foreman, 24, of Camden, N.J., is charged with being an accessory to burglary after the fact
The search for Hollingsworth and the other suspects involved multiple partner agencies, including K-9 units from Bel Air and Havre de Grace police departments; a Maryland State Police helicopter; Maryland State Police troopers; and Maryland Natural Resources Police.
Eight schools were placed on modified lockdowns during the search for Hollingsworth, all of which were lifted by 3:30 p.m., according to the sheriff's office. Deputies provided additional presence at dismissal time in active search areas, authorities reported.

All school lockdowns were lifted Friday afternoon as authorities searched for the suspect in a burglary on Churchville Road, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
Eight schools were placed on modified lockdown during the manhunt: C. Milton Wright High School, Churchville Elementary School, Darlington Elementary School, Dublin Elementary School, Harford Technical High School, John Archer School, Oak Grove Classical Christian School and Prospect Mill Elementary School.
Deputies were on hand during dismissal "out of an abundance of caution," the sheriff's office said in a statement.
Harford Community College was operating as usual but issued an alert asking people to be aware of their surroundings, carry their identification and report suspicious behavior to police.
The suspect sought by officials remained at large Friday afternoon.
