Scooter Driver Seriously Injured On Bridge Along Ma & Pa Trail

A person who wrecked his scooter on the Winters Run Bridge along the Ma & Pa Trail was life-flighted to a trauma center.

BEL AIR, MD — A person who wrecked his scooter on the Ma and Pa Trail Sunday had to be life-flighted to the hospital.

Firefighters and emergency medical technicians were called to the Winters Run Bridge along the trail, approximately one mile in. Crews prepared the patient for transport via UTV to a waiting ambulance at Annie's Playground, according to Bel Air authorities.

The ambulance then took the patient to a state medivac that flew him to a trauma center for treatment, officials stated. No additional details were released.
