Harford County Sheriff's Deputy Hit By Vehicle While Directing Traffic: Official

A Harford County sheriff's deputy was hit by a vehicle while directing traffic in Aberdeen Thursday afternoon.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A Harford County sheriff's deputy was hit by a vehicle while directing traffic Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened in the 700 block of West Bel Air Avenue in Aberdeen around 3:19 p.m. The deputy was taken to a trauma center for treatment of what the sheriff's office said were minor injuries.

At around 9 p.m. Thursday, the sheriff's office posted on Facebook that the deputy was released from the hospital that same night.
