After 9 Years With Harford Co. Sheriff's Office, Valued K9 Officer Bosco Dies

Harford County Sheriff's Office K9 named Bosco has died. He served for nine years and apprehended numerous criminals.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Bosco, a K9 officer with the Harford County Sheriff's Office, has died.

From June 2013 until March 2022, Bosco served alongside his handler, Senior Deputy Vazquez. Bosco was a multi-purpose patrol, explosive and gun detection K9. During his career, Bosco had numerous criminal apprehensions and gun recoveries, most notably the recovery of a firearm related to shots being fired at police officer from an allied agency, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
