Shooters Open Fire On Edgewood Man Outside His Home: Harford County Sheriff's Office

A group of shooters opened fire on an Edgewood man who was outside his home late Monday night, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A 25-year-old Edgewood man was shot Monday night outside his home.

Donald Purnell Williams was shot several times by a group of people who opened fire on him, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. The incident happened shortly before 11 p.m. in the 1900 block of Eloise Lane in Edgewood. Deputies administered first aid until EMS arrived and treated Williams while en route to a local trauma center.

The motive and any known relationship between the victim and suspects are being investigated. Anyone with information about the shooting, or who may have video of the incident, is asked to call Detective Gividen with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 410-638-4007.
