Shucks Road Reopens In Bel Air After Crews Finish Storm Damage Clean-Up

BEL AIR, MD — A section of Shucks Road in Bel Air between MD Route 22 and East Wheel Road has reopened now that clean-up from recent storm damage has been completed.

The road originally was to be shut down Aug. 7-11 but reopened Aug. 18. Emergency vehicles and school buses weren't allowed through the area during the work.

A section of Laurel Brook Road in Fallston remains closed Aug. 14-25 for tree removal stemming from recent storms. The road stretching between Friendship Road and Gunpowder Farms Road will be closed through Aug. 25 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be limited access to emergency vehicles in the area.
