Snow in Forecast for Bel Air on Friday

First day of spring could shower us with a wintry mix.

Spring arrives in Bel Air on Friday, and so does snow.

At least, that’s what the National Weather Service is forecasting.

There is a 90 percent chance of a rain-snow mix on Friday, according to the weather service.

Temps will be in the mid 40s during the day on Thursday, dropping to the low 30s at night, according to the forecast.

Snow is expected to start falling sometime between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday before turning to rain, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will be in the 30s.

Approximately 1 to 2 inches of snow may accumulate in Bel Air, the weather service reports.
