Some Roads Are Icy, Harford Sheriff Says
Transportation officials, law enforcement issue warning about slick roads Tuesday.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD – In the eight o’clock hour, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office reported its deputies were at seven crashes across the county. The Maryland Transportation Authority also advised drivers to be cautious of potentially icy roads Tuesday morning, particularly bridges, overpasses and roads not well traveled.
Edgewood Road, Prospect Mill and MD 715 at MD 7 were among those experiencing temporary closures due to ice, according to the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
For safe driving in icy conditions, AAA Mid-Atlantic advises allowing extra space between vehicles. If your auto skids, avoiding hitting the brakes and instead steer and look in the direction you want to go.
