Sound The Alarm Event In Edgewood Offers Free Smoke Alarm Installations

A Sound the Alarm event Saturday in Edgewood will offer free smoke alarm installations from local volunteer firefighters and the Red Cross.

EDGEWOOD, MD — On Saturday, the American Red Cross of Central Maryland along with volunteer firefighters will be holding the Sound the Alarm event.

They'll be in Edgewood visiting homes along Brookside Drive, Judy way, Eloise Lane, Small Crest Drive, Grempler Way and Waterside Court offering free smoke alarm installations and sharing fire safety information. They'll be canvassing the neighborhood from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
