Sports For Life Athletes Compete In Bowling Tournament
Sports for Life athletes from Harford County Public Schools recently competed in the winter bowling tournament with top athletes announced.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The Sports for Life program at Harford County Public Schools encourages students with disabilities to compete alongside peer helpers in three seasons of competition: bocce in the fall, bowling in the winter and basketball in the spring.
On Feb. 9, the Sports for Life teams from Harford County high schools competed in the winter bowling tournament at Forest Hill Lanes.
Top teams in each division include Havre de Grace High School (Chesapeake Division) and Edgewood High School (Susquehanna Division). Top male athletes were Alex Turner from Aberdeen High School (Susquehanna) and Donovan Webb from Joppatowne (Chesapeake). Top female athletes were Amber Seidenstricker from Edgewood High School (Susquhanna) and Eryak Giles from Havre de Grace High School (Chesapeake).

The next high school event will be a basketball game April 26 at Harford Technical High School.
