First, the Harford County Parks and Recreation Department offers an array of seasonal leagues, classes and recreation programs for residents of all ages. Be sure and check them out.
Youth Sports
Families in Bel Air have several options when it comes to youth sports leagues and programs throughout the year. The Harford County Parks and Recreation Department offers numerous youth sports leagues, teen opportunities and special programs for homeschoolers.

The Bel Air Recreation Commission, a nonprofit organization staffed by volunteers, offers a slew of recreational and cultural programs for adults and children, serving more than 10,000 participants a year.
Youth programming includes Terps football and cheerleading, travel baseball, rec baseball, rec softball, boys and girls basketball (including AAU for boys and travel teams for girls), baton, girls field hockey, a track and field club, a cross country series, boys recreational and club/travel lacrosse, girls rec and travel lacrosse, travel team soccer and wrestling.
Harford Sports Performance Center offers leagues for soccer, baseball, softball and lacrosse for boys and girls.
The Arena Club offers a high school trampoline dodgeball league for four weeks in the spring.
The Ward Y in Abingdon offers athletic opportunities for all ages, too, including swim team, preschool-aged and school-aged ballet class, martial arts for all ages, and youth baseball, soccer, basketball and sports mix.
The Susquehanna Football Club is a club program playing in CMSA and EDP leagues.
Harford Cheerleading offers competitive performance rec cheerleading and training for athletes of all ages, from toddlers to college level.
Since 2016, the Havre de Grace Youth Sailing Program has offered sailing instruction for students between seven and 17 years of age.
Adult Leagues & Recreational Sports
Adults looking to stay active can also find opportunities to play and connect through local leagues and recreation programs. BARC offers adult programming that includes a men's baseball league, 50 and older men's basketball, women's 25 and older pick-up basketball, women's summer lacrosse league, cricket, social softball for men and co-ed, co-ed volleyball, kendo, adult co-ed flag football and adult tennis.
The Arena Club offers adults the opportunity to play outdoor pickleball and year-round indoor pickleball and a 3v3 basketball league.
The Ward Y in Abingdon offers adult pickleball, martial arts for all ages and sports mix for parents to enjoy with their kids.
PlayAction Sports & Social Club has a location in Bel Air with dodgeball, kickball, football, volleyball, cornhole and yoga.
