'Sprinkles' The Deer Stuck In Pool Freed By Harford County Rescue Workers

Firefighters dubbed a deer Sprinkles who had become trapped in a pool. They pulled it out, warmed it up and set it free to find Santa.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Apparently one of Santa's "reindeer" had a mishap while in training this holiday season, reported Harford County rescue workers.

The Darlington Volunteer Fire Company received a call to help Sprinkles out of an above ground swimming pool. Even though the pool had been winterized with its cover on, Sprinkles still somehow managed to get inside the pool and couldn't climb out.

The fire company, along with the Harford County Sheriff's Office, carefully, freed the deer from its water entrapment then warmed the creature up. It didn't take long before Sprinkles regained its footing and was off, heading to the North Pole to find Santa.
