Stabbing in Abingdon Under Investigation

ABINGDON, MD – A woman in Abingdon was hospitalized Tuesday night after being stabbed, according to a statement from the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Officials said it is believed the woman knew the suspect.

At approximately 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to the 200 block of Cross Pointe Court, where the victim was suffering from a stab wound, the sheriff's office reported.

She was taken to a local trauma center for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, officials said.

Detectives from the Harford County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division are on the case.
