Bushmill Tavern Stabbing: Reward Offered For Suspect Info
Authorities are investigating a stabbing in Abingdon early Thursday morning.

ABINGDON, MD — A man is recovering after being stabbed Thursday morning following a dispute at the Bushmill Tavern, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. His injuries were minor, officials reported, and the search for the suspect was ongoing.
Authorities said they were called to the Bushmill Tavern in the 4000 block of Philadelphia Road for the report of a stabbing at 2:11 a.m. on Thursday, March 7.
By the time deputies arrived, at least one person who was involved in the stabbing had left the scene, according to authorities.

Based on the preliminary investigation, officials said there was a verbal disagreement between the victim and "unknown individuals" in the restaurant that escalated into a physical fight outside.
The man was stabbed in the upper body, authorities reported, and the Abingdon Fire Company took him to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

He had been treated and released by 7 a.m. on Thursday following an after-hours stabbing in the parking lot of the business, according to the Bushmill Tavern.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation.
