Starbucks Now Open in Bel Air Plaza

This week Bel Air welcomed its newest coffee shop—Starbucks.

The company already has an established presence in Bel Air in four other locations: at Target, in Tollgate Shopping Center, in Amyclae Shopping Center and at Safeway.

None of the other stores has a drive-through, a feature unique to this particular location in Harford County, which is a standalone building that used to house a bank.

Additionally, the Bel Air Plaza store will feature special offerings that other stores don’t have: limited-edition coffees and one-cup brewing.

The Starbucks off US Route 1 reportedly opened at 5 a.m. on Friday.

The new Starbucks is located at 563 Baltimore Pike/US Route 1 in the Bel Air Plaza shopping center, which is anchored by Mars and contains IHOP, Sweet Frog and Kirkland’s.
