Storm Drain Rescue Reported in Edgewood
Officials said a man was trapped in a storm drain Wednesday afternoon.

First responders helped someone who had become trapped in a storm drain in Edgewood Wednesday afternoon, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
The man who fell in sustained minor injuries, the fire company reported.
Rescuers freed him from the storm drain in the 2000 block of Pulaski Highway in Edgewood at 1 p.m.

He was taken to Upper Chesapeake by Joppa-Magnolia paramedics, according to fire company spokesman Andrew Doyle.
