Stun Gun Used In Robbery At Edgewood Rite Aid: Police

A stun gun was used in an armed robbery in Harford County, state troopers say.

EDGEWOOD, MD – A man was robbed by two teens while leaving Rite Aid in Edgewood this week, police said. Authorities are asking for help identifying the suspects.

The boys allegedly punched the man as he was departing the pharmacy in the 700 block of Edgewood Road before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17. Then they shocked him with a stun gun, police said, twice on his abdomen and once on his neck, before stealing his wallet and running away.

The suspects headed south down a driveway and then toward Willoughby Beach Road along Edgewood Road, police said.

Troopers and Harford County sheriff's deputies responded and canvassed the area but did not locate the suspects, described as 13 to 16-year-old boys. One was wearing a black and white camouflaged jacket, while the other had on a knitted hat with small brim and a gray or black hooded sweatshirt, police said.

The victim declined medical treatment at the scene, according to police.
