Suspect In Armed Robbery Of Walgreens Snags Cigarettes: Harford County Sheriff

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — On Christmas Eve, Harford County deputies were called to the Walgreens in the 1300 block of Riverside Parkway in Belcamp for a report of an armed robbery that unfolded around 8:20 a.m.

Officers were told that a man around 6'1 with a slender build wearing a Nike ski mask, black jacket with a gray sweatshirt underneath, black pants and gray shoes approached an employee and asked to purchase a pack of cigarettes, according to the sheriff's office.

When the store employee turned around, the suspect came over the counter and began grabbing several packs of cigarettes. The suspect also said he had a gun, the store employee told sheriff's deputies. The suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of cigarettes, according to the sheriff's office.
