Suspect Charged In Connection To Edgewood Man's Shooting Death: Police

A Brooklyn man has been charged in connection to an Edgewood man's shooting death. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A 37-year-old Brooklyn man has been arrested and charged in connection to the death of Tyrell Orlando Polley, 33, of Edgewood.

On Aug. 2, Harford County sheriff's deputies responded to the 600 block of Longwood Court in Edgewood for a report of someone in cardiac arrest. Deputies found Polley dead in his home. Polley had been shot multiple times in the upper body, according to the sheriff's office.

During the investigation, detectives developed Michael Anthony Brown, Jr, 37, as the person responsible for Polley’s death. A warrant for Brown’s arrest was issued Aug. 15. Brown, already in custody at the Baltimore County Detention Center for unrelated charges, now faces additional charges including first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, and other related offenses.
