Teen Arrested In Connection With Shooting In Edgewood: Harford County Sheriff
A 17-year-old faces attempted murder charges in connection with a Jan. 17 shooting in Edgewood, according to the sheriff's office.
Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly listed the wrong criminal charged a teen suspect faces. The victim survived and the juvenile has been charged with attempted murder.
EDGEWOOD, MD — A teenager has been charged with attempted first-degree murder in a Jan. 17 shooting that happened in Edgewood, authorities said, and investigators are seeking additional suspects in the attack.
On Jan. 17 around 9 p.m., Harford County sheriff's deputies received a report of a shooting at Harford Square Drive at O & P Court. Deputies found Oluwatishe Oluwatamilore Ilori, 22, of Rosedale, with gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body.

Illori was taken by Maryland State Police Medivac Helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was treated, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives identified a suspect and arrested the 17-year-old on a chargef of attempted first-degree murder.

During the teen's arrest, officers found a loaded HK Smith and Wesson .40 caliber firearm. While the motive behind the shooting remains under investigation, a backpack containing marijuana was found in the victim’s car where he was shot.
Because the investigation is ongoing and additional suspects are being sought, no additional information has been released by the sheriff's office.
