Teen Driving Electric Dirt Bike Killed In Crash With Vehicle
A teen was flown to a regional trauma center Tuesday afternoon after being involved in a crash with a vehicle, authorities report.
FALLSTON, MD — A 16-year-old boy was flown by air ambulance to a regional trauma center Tuesday afternoon after being involved in a crash with a vehicle.
The incident happened just before 2:30 p.m. in the area of Maryland Route 152 (Fallston Road) and Pleasantville Road. The preliminary investigation indicates that a Honda CR-V was traveling southbound on Rt 152 and attempted to make a left turn onto Pleasantville Road. The electric dirt bike being driven by the teen was traveling northbound on Rt. 152 and hit the Honda CR-V on the passenger side.
Maryland State Police's aviation command flew the teen to the trauma center in critical condition, according to authorities. The Fallston teen was pronounced dead at the hospital.

County emergency responders, several ambulances, the state police and other crews arrived to help at the scene.
The Maryland State Police Crash Team is leading the active and ongoing investigation. Once completed, the investigation will be presented to the Office of the State’s Attorney in Harford County to determine whether charges will be filed.
