Telephone Pole Down, Road Closed in Joppa: Officials
Traffic alert: MD 7 is closed for a stretch in Joppa due to crash.
JOPPA, MD — A telephone pole has fallen on MD 7/Philadelphia Road due to a crash Tuesday afternoon, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
After 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the fire company reported that its crews were at the scene of the collision.
MD 7 was closed between Joppa Farm Road and Old Joppa Road due to the incident, officials reported.
