Telephone Pole Hit in Belair Road Crash, Officials Say

Belair Road is shut down due to collision in Fallston Thursday afternoon, Harford first responders report.

FALLSTON, MD – Several people were injured and a telephone pole was knocked over Thursday afternoon in a crash on Belair Road, emergency officials reported.

At noon, the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company was dispatched to a multiple-vehicle crash in the 2600 block of Belair Road, according to Mike Laslo, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

Belair Road was closed between Reckord and Wilgis roads while emergency personnel responded, he said.

A telephone pole had been knocked over and the involved vehicles were blocking the roadway, according to Laslo.

The number of people injured and the extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
