Three Rescued from Wheel Road Crash: Officials

Monday afternoon collision required rescue for people trapped, Harford first responders reported.

Three people were taken to regional trauma centers Monday afternoon from a crash on Wheel Road, officials said.

Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, according to Jennifer Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

After 12:30 p.m., Chenworth reported that Wheel Road was shut down between MD 543 and Schucks Road for a triple rescue, with the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company at the scene.

By 12:35 p.m., Chenworth said the trapped individuals had been rescued and were taken for medical treatment.
