Town of Bel Air 'Sends Our Thoughts and Prayers' to Orlando
Bel Air police, commissioners offer prayers to Florida, as state and federal authorities lower flags.

After a gunman opened fire in an Orlando nightclub early Sunday, killing 50 and injuring 53 more, towns across the country—including Bel Air—are rallying behind the city and the victims.
"The Town of Bel Air and the BAPD sends [sic] our thoughts and prayers to the Orlando mass shooting victims, their families, friends and the Orlando community," the Bel Air Police Department (BAPD) said in a statement.

President Barack Obama ordered flags at half-staff nationwide, and Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan mandated Maryland flags lowered as well.

The vigil will take place at The Ynot Lot at North Avenue and Charles Street in Baltimore.
