Town Of Bel Air Temporarily Suspends Bulk Trash Pickup

Your Town government is doing everything possible to maintain services to each resident, while ensuring the safety of all. Please be patient as there may be delays because of service related to staffing shortages and emergency calls. At this time, we have suspended all pick up of bulk trash. Please do not leave any bulk trash curbside for pick up.

Additional Tips from the Department of Public Works:

• We do plan to continue collection of yard debris.
• We ask that residents be mindful while taking trash to the curb and be certain it is ALL bagged tightly to protect our sanitation workers.
• We are seeing an increase of septic line issues related to “Wet Wipes” or “Flushable Wipes”, this product does cause problems with our infrastructure. We ask that citizens refrain from flushing these items that cause blockages in the sewer system.
