Townhouse Fire in Abingdon Snuffed Out, Official Says
Smoke was showing when crews responded to a fire call in Abingdon Monday morning, according to Harford County emergency official.

ABINGDON, MD – Crews made quick work of a townhouse fire in Abingdon Monday morning, officials said.
At 10 a.m., firefighters responded to the 500 block of June Apple Court and found smoke showing from a middle-of-the-group townhouse, according to Mike Laslo, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Within minutes, first responders had extinguished the fire and established that nobody was inside, Laslo said.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal was investigating the cause of the blaze.
