3 Hospitalized From Bel Air Townhouse Fire: Official
Two children and one adult were hospitalized after a house fire Wednesday night in Bel Air, officials reported.
BEL AIR, MD – Three people were hospitalized after a townhouse fire in Bel Air Wednesday night, officials said. Two children and one adult were taken to regional burn centers for treatment, according to authorities.
The fire broke out at a home in the 900 block of Pentwood Road before 11 p.m., according to authorities.
Crews from Bel Air and neighboring fire companies were dispatched at 10:49 p.m. to a townhouse blaze where people were trapped and required rescue, said Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

In 10 minutes, the fire was knocked and was subsequently declared under control.
Two children and one adult were taken in serious condition to regional burn centers, according to Chenworth.

The fire was in the basement, Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company told Patch.
As of 11:25 p.m., he said the fire was out.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal was investigating the cause of the blaze.
