Townhouse Fire Reported in Joppa

Due to a townhouse fire in the Joppa area Friday afternoon, drivers should expect delays, officials said.

At 3:16 p.m., crews found smoke showing from a townhouse in the 1200 block of Plaza Circle, Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported.

Within 15 minutes, firefighters requested assistance from White Marsh, APG, Kingsville and Bel Air fire companies in addition to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, according to the report.

Drivers on Trimble Road should expect delays between Joppa Farm and Mariner roads, the fire company reported.
