Don’t miss out! Get your tickets to see country rock recording artist Trace Adkins at a benefit concert at the APGFCU Arena at Harford Community College on Friday, September 23. Tickets will go on sale May 23 at 10 a.m. The APGFCU Arena has partnered with WXCY 103.7 FM to bring the concert to Harford County.
Audience members will enjoy Adkins’ lead single “Jesus and Jones,” his first single with BBR Music Group’s Wheelhouse Records. The anthem about walking the line between Saturday night and Sunday morning is an instant classic from a man with an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. Currently touring across the United States, Adkins is also treating fans to many of his longtime favorites such as “This Ain’t No Thinkin’ Thing,” “You’re Gonna Miss This,” and “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.”
Adkins’ trademark baritone has sold more than 10 million albums. Some of his hits include “Ladies Love Country Boys,” “Songs About Me,” “Every Light In The House,” “Hillbilly Bone (Blake Shelton & Trace Adkins),” and “Just Fishin’.” The Grammy-nominated member of the Grand Ole Opry is also a TV personality, actor, author, spokesman for the Wounded Warrior Program and the American Red Cross, for which he raised over $1.5 million as the winner of NBC’s All-Star Celebrity Apprentice. In recent years, Adkins has performed 10 USO Tours.

In his 2007 autobiography, A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck, the former oil-rigger recounted his rise to fame, brushes with death, and battles with personal demons. Trace has played a tough-as-nails biker in The Lincoln Lawyer (starring Matthew McConaughey), and a wise tattoo artist in the family-friendly film Moms’ Night Out (starring Patricia Heaton, Sean Astin, and Sarah Drew).

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Harford Community College Foundation Scholarship Program. Denise Dregier, Director for the HCC Foundation said, “Many individuals, organizations, and local businesses donate funds for scholarships to assist Harford students in learning, growing, and becoming contributing members of our community. We appreciate that proceeds from Trace Adkins’ performance in the APG Federal Credit Union Arena on the campus of Harford Community College will raise additional dollars in support of our students.”
