Track Work Impacts Perryville, Aberdeen, Edgewood MARC Stations
Some boarding procedures and train schedules will be impacted by Amtrak work.

Commuters who take the train from Perryville to points south may need to modify their schedules and habits, as Amtrak conducts work on the tracks between Edgewood and Aberdeen.
Boarding procedures and schedules are changing temporarily as follows, the Maryland Transit Administration reports:
- At the Aberdeen station, all northbound MARC and Amtrak trains will use the southbound platform, and southbound trains will use the northbound platform.
- At the Edgewood station, boarding for all northbound MARC trains will occur on the southbound platform.
- For those heading south from Perryville or Aberdeen, all MARC Penn Line trains—with the exception of Train 537 (see below)—will leave three minutes earlier than usual. The trains will resume their regular schedule at Edgewood.
- Passengers on Train 537, which leaves Perryville at 2:30 p.m.—Train 537 will leave 10 minutes earlier from Perryville and Aberdeen; nine minutes earlier from Edgewood; and seven minutes earlier from Martin State Airport. The train will resume its regular schedule at Penn Station en route to Washington.
- There are no changes to northbound schedules, however, trains may experience minor delays due to the track work.
The changes took effect Sept. 2 and will continue until Nov. 13, according to the Maryland Transit Administration.
