Tractor-Trailer Flips On I-95 Exit Ramp in Joppa: Officials

One person was in serious condition after a tractor-trailer overturned in Harford County, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company said.

JOPPA, MD - One person was hospitalized after a crash that temporarily closed an exit ramp from Interstate 95 Wednesday morning near Joppa, according to officials.

Before 8:45 a.m., a tractor-trailer overturned on the ramp from I-95 north to MD 152/Mountain Road, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

There were injuries involved, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, which reported the crash occurred near the park and ride.

One person was taken to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center by Joppa-Magnolia ambulance in serious condition, the fire company reported before 9:30 a.m.

The off-ramp from I-95 north to MD 152 was closed until 9:05 a.m., transportation officials reported.
