Crash on I-95 North of MD 24 Caused Brief Closure

A crash briefly caused delays for travelers headed north of Abingdon Friday morning, according to transportation officials.

One vehicle was involved in the collision, which was reported at 5:41 a.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART). After 5:55 a.m., the ramp to I-95 north from MD 24 was closed and so was one northbound lane.

By 6 a.m. the crash had been moved to the right shoulder, and the ramp and lanes were open.
