Vehicle Overturned, Injuring One on I-95 North of Mountain Road: Officials

The crash closed the on-ramp to the highway near Joppa.

The ramp from Mountain Road/MD 152 to Interstate 95 north was closed briefly Monday morning due to a crash that injured one person, officials said.

At 8:46 a.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported an overturned vehicle was blocking the right lane and on-ramp to I-95 north.

One person was taken to Upper Chesapeake with minor injuries, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at 8:41 a.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

By 9:05 a.m., CHART reported the ramp had reopened.

The crash had cleared after 9:20 a.m., according to Maryland Transportation Authority.
