Saturday's Storm Causes Tree To Crash Through Roof Of Joppa Home, No Injuries Reported

A tree crashed into a Joppa home Sunday morning following Saturday's storm that brought high winds to the area.

JOPPA, MD — Saturday night's windstorm that swept through the area brought down numerous trees in the area and caused widespread power outages in southern Harford County.

Firefighters were called to a home in the 900 block of W. Ring Factory Road after a tree fell onto a home. The tree smashed through the roof of the home and fell on into the house.

No injuries were reported, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
