Tree Down Near Rocks State Park, Officials Say
Some roads are closed as severe thunderstorm barrels through Harford County.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD – Road closures are in effect in parts of Harford County Sunday afternoon due to severe weather.
At 5:15 p.m., emergency officials said that Rocks Road/MD 24 was closed at Cherry Hill Road because of a tree down.
Earlier, there were multiple reports of trees and wires down around Rocks State Park.

According to state transportation officials, these roads were also closed after 6 p.m. due to weather:
- MD 136 south of US 1
- MD 924 at Holly Wreath Road
- MD 543 south at Heaps School Road

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 10 p.m., according to the National Weather Service, which advises strong winds, hail and tornadoes are possible.
