Tree Hit House in Bel Air: Officials
Wind gusts on Sunday afternoon brought a tree toppling into a home off Rock Spring Road.
BEL AIR, MD — As winds gusted on Sunday afternoon, a tree fell into a home in Bel Air, officials reported.
Between 2 and 3 p.m., the tree hit the house on James Avenue at Rock Spring Road, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, which responded to the incident.
Nobody was home at the time, Gardiner said, and BGE and a building inspector were called.

According to the National Weather Service, wind gusts greater than 45 mph began traveling north of the D.C. metro area after 1:45 p.m., accompanied by a drop in temperature.
