Route 40 Reopens After Truck Crash At Joppa Farm Road: SHA
A crash on Route 40 required lane closures midday Monday due to the cleanup effort.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A truck flipped on US 40 at Joppa Farm Road midday Monday. The cleanup required lane closures on part of Route 40/Pulaski Highway.
After the crash, it smelled like gas in the area, according to Fox 45, which reported first responders were at the scene before noon on Monday, Feb. 11.
Route 40 was closed to westbound traffic at Joppa Farm Road as a result of the crash, the Maryland State Highway Administration reported after 12:30 p.m.

By 1:40 p.m., officials said that all lanes had reopened on Route 40/Pulaski Highway. However, the right acceleration lane and left shoulder were closed.
