HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Maryland Public Television's original series Maryland Farm & Harvest will feature farms and sites in Harford, Carroll and Washington counties during an animal-themed episode Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The weekly series shares stories about the farms, people and technology required to sustain and grow agriculture in Maryland, the state’s No. 1 commercial industry.

The Jan. 24 episode features Lumina Honey & Hives products created on Lost Acre Farm in Bel Air. Owned by retired scientists Jane Kuhl and Drew Denton, the couple are beekeepers who share information about their hives, how they collect honey, spinning honeycombs in the barn, then using honey to make and sell beeswax soaps, candles and jarred honey.
