Two Airlifted from Crash in Bel Air, Official Says
Crash happened near Bel Air Bypass, according to Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.
Two people were taken with serious injuries from a crash on Belair Road at the Bel Air Bypass Thursday, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.
The victims’ injuries were ”serious but non life-threatening,” he said in a report before 6 p.m.
As crews were handling the crash, a fire broke out on Pecan Court, according to Gardiner.

At 5:30 p.m., the Bel Air firehouse sounded its siren on Hickory Avenue to alert volunteers that there were multiple calls for service, Gardiner said.
The Pecan Court call was for a bathroom fire, and there were no injuries as a result. He said the fire marshal was investigating that incident.
