Three Crashes on I-95 in Harford County Jam Traffic
All crashes occurred on southbound Interstate 95, according to state transportation officials.
Harford County, MD ā From a jackknifed tractor-trailer to a tour bus, multiple crashes slowed southbound traffic Friday afternoon on Interstate 95 in Harford County.
Several people were hospitalized.
The collisions impacted the southbound stretch of I-95 between the exits for MD 152 and MD 543, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

At 3:12 p.m., the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported that a tractor-trailer jackknifed on I-95 south in the area of mile marker 73. The truck went into the woods.
One person was hospitalized, officials said; the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company took the man to Johns Hopkins Bayview Trauma Center with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

Special cleanup was required because of a fuel spill. The Harford County hazmat team and the Maryland Department of the Environment pumped diesel fuel off the truck, and Maryland State Police was investigating the crash, the fire company reported.
According to the Maryland Transportation Authority, the tractor-trailer crash was not cleared until 5:45 p.m., at which point delays persisted on I-95 south. Officials suggested US 40, MD 7 and US 1 as alternate routes.
The next crash occurred at 3:21 p.m., with five vehiclesāincluding a tour busāon I-95 south at mile marker 72.5.
Four people were taken to area hospitals.
At 3:23 p.m. a third crash occurred on the fast shoulder of I-95 south in the area of mile marker 74.1. Two vehicles collided, and one person was hospitalized with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
