Two Displaced in Whiteford House Fire: Officials
Part of home collapsed in a blaze that took at least two hours to bring under control, Harford County emergency personnel report.
A two-alarm fire broke out at a home in Whiteford Wednesday night that displaced two adults, according to the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
First responders from the Whiteford Volunteer Fire Company and crews from surrounding areas were working to battle the blaze in the 4400 block of Prospect Road before 8:30 p.m., according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the association.
At 10:36 p.m., the fire was placed under control and the second floor of the home had partially collapsed, Chenworth said.

No injuries were reported, and disaster assistance will be assisting two people who were displaced, according to the report.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal was at the scene, Chenworth reported.
