Vehicle Overturns on US 1, Sending One to Trauma Center: Officials

Drivers should anticipate delays on US 1/Conowingo Road Monday afternoon due to a crash involving an overturned vehicle, officials say.

Route 1 was closed in the area of Kalmia Road as first responders worked to clear the scene, Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS spokesman Mike Laslo said at approximately 12:45 p.m.

One person was being taken to a regional trauma center, according to Laslo. The person's condition was unknown.

Crews from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company and Darlington Volunteer Fire Company responded to the crash site, where delays will be present until approximately 1:30 p.m., Laslo said.
