VIDEO: Robbery at 7-Eleven in Edgewood

There is a reward of up to $2,000 for information about the suspect.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office provided the video below of a Sept, 25 robbery in Edgewood.


The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying the suspect who allegedly robbed a 7-Eleven in Edgewood this week.

At 2:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, a man walked into the convenience store in the 500 block of Edgewood Road, approached the clerk, acted as though he had a weapon, according to the sheriff’s office.

The suspect demanded cash and left with an undisclosed amount of money, the sheriff’s office reported, noting there were no injuries.

The suspect was described as a black man between 35 and 40 who was 5’7” tall and of thin/average build. At the time of the robbery, authorities said he was wearing bright green sneakers, a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

A cash reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information. To be eligible, tipsters must use one of the following methods for submitting tips: send a tip online through Harford County Sheriff’s Office; text the tip to Metro Crime Stoppers at 274637 with “MCS” plus the message; or call Harford Crime Solvers at 1-888-540-8477.
