Volunteers Needed To Serve On Harford County Boards, Commissions

Volunteers are encouraged to apply to serve on any of Harford County's boards and commissions.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Volunteers are needed to serve on a variety of county government boards and commissions. Harford County Executive Bob Cassilly encourages residents to submit their applications online.

“With a variety of subject matters overseen by county volunteers through boards and commissions, a wide range of service opportunities is available for our citizens to contribute their time and expertise,” Harford County Executive Cassilly said. “I am grateful for the many individuals who have served over the years and invite existing participants along with new individuals to apply.”

For some boards and commissions, county law establishes specific guidelines and qualifications for membership. The county executive’s appointments are subject to review and confirmation by the Harford County Council. Current board and commission members who wish to continue serving must also re-apply.
