Wal-Mart has over 2,000 pro-Wal-Mart petitions from its Aberdeen, Fallston, and Constant Friendship stores to argue that our community wants a 186,000 square Super-Center located on a 2 lane Route 924 that is within 0.9 of a mile
from five (5) schools located on Rt. 924 ( Ring Factory Elementary, Home of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Pre-School,
New Covenant Christian Upper School, Patterson Mill Middle School and Patterson Mill High School ).
Why should the largest and richest retailer in the world and customers in Aberdeen and Fallston force all of
the neighborhoods, residents, parents, school students, pedestrians, and recreation teams along Rt. 924 to
jeopardize their lives driving, crossing or walking along Rt. 924 merely to make more money for Wal-Mart and
the Walton Family billionaires? Where have you ever seen a Wal-Mart Super Center store located on a 2 lane road?
