Police Seek Abingdon Armed Robbery Suspect

There is a reward of up to $2,000 for information about man who robbed prescriptions from Walgreens.

Authorities are offering a reward for information about a recent armed robbery at a drugstore in Abingdon, where the suspect stole prescription medications and cash, according to Maryland State Police.

At 2:17 a.m. on Monday, July 20, police responded to the 3000 block of Emmorton Road after a man with a handgun had accosted Walgreens employees and demanded money and prescription medications, officials reported.

The suspect was described as a 5’7” white man of medium build who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue face covering.
