Wanted: Information About Winters Run Inn Burglars

Harford County Sheriff's Office needs help identifying suspects.

After a seafood restaurant in Joppa was burglarized by men wearing masks, the Harford County Sheriff's Office is asking for help identifying the culprits.

In the early morning hours of Monday, July 7, two people broke into Winters Run Inn, located in the 1900 block of Philadelphia Road in Joppa, the sheriff's office reported.

There were signs of forced entry, according to Cristie Kahler, spokeswoman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Property was damaged and cash was stolen, totaling $5,000, according to the sheriff's office.

The suspects were two males with their faces covered, Kahler said.

Anyone with information regarding their identities may submit tips in the following ways:

  • Call Detective Peters of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office at 410-836-5014.
  • Call Harford Crime Solvers at 1-888-540-8477 or submit a tip online. Information may qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
  • Call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP; text "MCS" plus the message to "CRIMES" (274637); or submit tips online. Information may qualify for a reward of up to $2,000.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office says all tips will be kept confidential.
